Frequently Asked Questions
How old do I need to be to enter? It depends! Our events have age restrictions from 16+ to 21+. Please check the show pageto verify the age requirement for the event you're interested in going to. All shows require a government-issued photo ID or passport to enter. Our lovely security guards are present at all shows to check IDs and ensure your safety!
What are the set times tonight?
Set times always vary and are not typically available in advance of events. For that reason, we recommend arriving at the venue at the advertised door times, or shortly thereafter in order to ensure that you will enjoy the full event. Please note that the advertised door times on our websites, social media, and tickets indicates when the venue will open for the show, NOT when the headliner will perform.
In some cases, set times will be published in advance - always check the venue’s social media accounts as information could be posted there.
I think I lost something at Elsewhere. Do you have a lost & found?Totally! Please email email@example.com, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible to help try to locate your lost items. Please allow up to two days for us to sort through and catalogue lost and found items from the weekend.
Is there re-entry?No, your exit is final when you leave Elsewhere. But we've got a lot to offer inside: a hideaway bar upstairs with seating if you need a break from the action, a small food menu if you're hungry, multiple performance rooms to explore, and an art gallery!
Do I need to bring ID? Yes! For everyone's safety, US government-issued photo ID or passport is required for entry to ALL Elsewhere events. For our lovely international patrons, please note that we ONLY accept valid passports for entry - we do not accept foreign IDs of any other kind. Thank you!
How do I get to Elsewhere? Elsewhere is located at 599 Johnson Avenue in Brooklyn. The nearest subway stations are along the [L] train: a 5 minute walk from the Jefferson St. stop and a 15 minute walk from the Morgan Ave. stop.
Where can I park? While there is no designated parking at Elsewhere, there is generally street parking available at night in the neighborhood directly around the venue. If possible, we always encourage audiences to use public transportation to make your way to Elsewhere.
I bought advance tickets online using a credit card. Do I need to have the card to get in?No! You just need to come with your ticket, either printed, as a PDF on your phone or within the Dice app.
Where do I direct questions about my tickets?
Only our ticket provider Eventbrite can assist in ticketing questions. Please click here to visit Eventbrite's Customer Support site for all questions about will call or general support for shows at our clubs.
Please note: we cannot make any ticketing changes for you via Facebook Messenger or through any other social media platform, and we cannot verify ahead of time any tickets that were purchased through third parties.
Can I get a refund on my ticket?
Please note that for the foreseeable future all refunds will be offered via a Tixel link where you will be able to choose to:
- double your money and convert your ticket value to 2x the original amount in the form of credit
- donate your ticket and support independent live music (thank you!), or
- get a full refund
Can I scan my ticket from my phone? Yes, we can scan your phone for entry to any event, just download the Eventbrite app here and please load up your account in advance! If you have issues, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Do you have ADA accommodations?
Yes! When you arrive at the venue, please alert security at the entrance who will make sure you are taken care of by one of our managers. We recommend arriving when doors open for quickest accommodation (door times are listed on each event page), but we will happily accommodate requests at the venue at any time.
Elsewhere is wheelchair accessible but some areas require a staff escort for elevator access. Reserved seating or viewing areas can be pre-arranged as well. Please email email@example.com to give us a heads up, or ask security or a manager for assistance when at the venue.
Please also note that the sound system can be loud and that strobe lights, fog, and haze are frequently used at both concerts and parties.
If you have a special need not mentioned here and would like to know if we can accommodate it, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be sure to respond as quickly as possible.
Is there a coat check? Yes! We operate a coat check for our events in the performance spaces in Elsewhere Hall and Zone One. Coat check is optional for all live shows (except for backpacks and large bags), but for the safety of your belongings later in the night, we operate a mandatory check policy for our club nights.
Can I rent Elsewhere for a private event?
